Moka Coffee Beans For The Italian Experience
Here are some tips on using a Moka machine at home:
- Use Moka coffee beans. Our Costadoro Moka is pre-ground to ensure it’s the perfect coarseness for your Moka. If the moka coffee beans are too large or small, the Moka won’t be able to do its job effectively.
- Choose your Moka pot wisely. We recommend a stainless steel pot, which won’t transfer any taste to the beans with brewing. The most famous Moka machine is the Bialetti.
- Listen to your Moka. When your coffee is done, the Moka pot will start rumbling. To avoid burning, you want to remove the Moka from the stove as soon as you hear this gurgle. Let it sit for a few minutes so it won’t bubble up and leak over. If everyone drinking the coffee likes sugar in their cup, try adding the sugar directly into the top chamber. This will infuse the sugar with the extract for a more natural saccharine flavor.
